Today, State Representative Michele D. Presnell (NC-118) endorsed Wayne King for the Republican nomination for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District. Presnell has represented the 11th District counties of Yancey, Madison and Haywood in the State House since 2012.

“I have known Wayne King for many years,” Presnell said. “I find him to be a man of integrity. I fully support him running for Congress in the 11th Congressional District. He is a “stand up” kind of guy. He fully supports the 2nd Amendment, one of the most important attributes a person can have right now in this tumultuous time. He knows the whole district, having been Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Meadows. He supports our law enforcement from all over WNC. He has our mountain values. He will vote in the Washington in the best interests of the people in his district. I feel confident he will have President Trump’s back every day and will help ‘Drain the Swamp.’ He will fight for the unborn, very important to all of us. The primary is on March 3rd. Please get out and vote, this will be a very important election.”

“I am honored to call Rep. Michele Presnell my friend, and I’m excited humbled to have her endorsement for Congress,” King said. “Michele has a strong record of fighting for our conservative mountain values in Raleigh, and I’m proud to have earned her trust and confidence. As your next Congressman, I will proudly fight for the right to life, our 2nd Amendment, and the people of the 11th District. I will have President Trump’s back, and I will stand with him to Keep America Great!”
