Today, former State Senator Keith Presnell endorsed Wayne King for the Republican nomination for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District. Presnell represented Avery, Haywood, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell and Yancey Counties in the State Senate.

“I have known Wayne King for many years,” Presnell said. “I find him to be very reliable, truthful, and would make a great Congressman for the 11th District. Having been Congressman Meadows Deputy Chief of Staff and right-hand man for 7 years, he has the experience and knowledge it will take to hit the ground running on opening day in Washington, DC. I fully support Wayne King for Congress.”

“I am proud to have the endorsement of Senator Presnell,” King said.  “He was a strong conservative voice for Western North Carolina as a State Senator and has continued to be a tireless advocate for our Mountain values. I’m honored to call him my friend.  When elected to Congress, I will put my experience and first-hand knowledge to work ensuring the 11th District has a strong and effective voice in Washington. I will proudly fight to preserve our values, and I will continue to stand with President Donald Trump as we work to Keep America Great.”
